The shop franchisee is Mark Marriott ably assisted by Rachel Ainscough and Scott Astley.
Mark has over 30 years experience in all the aspects of carpets and furniture retail and is always on hand to give friendly advice when you are choosing the right carpet or bed for your home or business.
We have been very fortunate to have a new addition to the sales team. Rachel has bought an energy and knowledge of colours and intergrated design to the business.
Scott, out youngest member of staff has now established himself as an outstanding member of the team showing great enthusiasm
We have two conscientious carpet and vinyl fitting teams with over 25 years experience. Terry and Gary are a two man team who specialise in the larger fittings and Gary who fits the smaller rooms. We regularly monitor their work and they always meet or exceed our customer charter standards. We have received many phone calls from satisfied customers commending their work.
We have free fitting when you buy any Airstep underlay and for a small charge our fitters can also lift your old carpets.
Laminate floor fitting is carried out by our specialist fitter John, who has 15 years experience under his belt and he will deliver the laminate free of charge on the day of fitting.
Our aim is to provide outstanding service to our customers and we hope you see you in our store or if you see something you like on our website we will be pleased to measure your rooms and bring the relevant samples for you to choose in your own home.
The store also has ample free parking in its own car park.

We have thousands of carpets to choose from -select from hardwearing Berbers, stain resistant twists, sumptuous Saxony’s and luxury wools. All carpets are delivered and fitted free when purchasing underlay.
The exclusive VIP collection carries thousands of carpets for the more concerning customer and includes luxury deep pile Wilton, pure wool Berbers and deep pile Saxony’s, all available for special order and delivered within five days.
VINYL FLOORING
Today’s vinyl is amazing. The choice of colours and designs are better than ever and the prices are fantastic. A range of non slip vinyls is available on the roll and there is a huge selection of samples in store, giving the customer a fantastic choice.
LAMINATE AND WOOD FLOORING
Increasingly popular in today’s homes laminate and wood flooring looks fantastic and is easy to fit even by the most unadventurous DIY-er or United Carpets can get it professionally fitted for you.
BEDS & MATTRESSES
We have a large display area with a bed to suit everybody, from kids beds through to luxury memory foam divan beds, plus modern metal and wooden framed beds.
We also carry huge selections of all types of mattresses and headboards ready to take away.
