I would like to let you know how your company has transformed the lives of my wife and I since we visited your store a few weeks ago.

Firstly, our carpets were long overdue for replacements and we found just what we were looking for when we arrived at United Carpets on Ripon Road in Harrogate. We bought the carpets and the underlay and they were fitted superbly in our house last week. The quality of the goods are fantastic and the standard of workmanship by your carpet fitters was very high. We now feel that we live in our very own Buckingham Palace!

We also purchased a new bed from you. After over 20 years of hard wear and tear with our old bed we needed a replacement - those wretched springs kept popping up in the mattress. Once again we found just what we were looking for when we visited your store and now our nights are full of bliss again!

We recently had our house re-carpeted by your company and I feel compelled to write to say how delighted we are with the end result.

The carpet fitters did a superb job, Chris, a man of few words but nonetheless sociable and friendly worked quietly and methodically and did an excellent job in such a short space of time. I still dont know how he managed to move a wardrobe and Guest bed on his own!

Ian and Joe, The Morecambe and Wise of the carpet fitting trad were both extremely efficient and quite hilarious. I thoroughly enjoyed the good natured banter while watching them transform a chaotic pile of carpet into a perfectly fitted one in such a short space of time.

Thank all three of them for us and whatever you do hang onto them as they're among the best at what they do.

Dear Sir,

I am writing with regards to the carpet I had fitted 12th January this year.

Our house was originally carpeted by Calverts in Ripon, days before we moved in to the house, 7 years ago. We were very disappointed with the job - they had failed to sweep the floor before laying the carpets and there were bumps where this had occurred in several rooms, and subsequently we developed bald patches in these areas which wore away quickly.

After calling into your store at new year, I arranged an estimate for a new carpet for our living room, and underlay.

I just wanted to pass on my thanks and appreciation firstly with regards to the man who came to give us the estimate, and especially to the 2 fitters sent to fit the carpet. Both my husband and myself were very impressed with the finished result, and it was nice to have work done by people who know what they are doing and care about the end result of the job they are doing, rather than just doing the job as quickly as possible.

Dear Gavin.

I have used your company on several occasions to supply carpets, a rug, a bed and more recently new carpet for my 20 year old Motorhome.

The quality of the carpet and underlay used in the Motorhome was excellent value for money considering the amount I wanted to spend as I will be selling the Motorhome when the new one arrives in 4 months time, but it was the fitting service that really impressed me. The job was difficult due to the confined space to work in and many awkward cuts around fixtures and fittings etc, but the end result is excellent and with minimal wastage which proves your measuring skills are also top notch.

When it comes down to awkward corners, Gavin's definitely a cut above the rest.

Just wanted to touch base with you to thank you again for doing a fantastic job on the carpets for our house on Hookstone.  I have already mentioned to you that the service I have received from you and your colleagues has been brilliant.  Everyone has gone out of their way to assist.  It has not been easy trying to select carpets and co-ordinate dates when we are based 'down south' but you have made the whole process so easy for us.

The fitter, Ian, did a great job laying the carpets last Friday.  He worked quickly and was friendly and helpful too - I would definitely recommend using him again. 

We have spent a very tiring week cleaning and re-decorating the house but now with the new carpets as well, the place is un-recognisable from when you saw it last.  Fingers crossed we can find a buyer now.  If you know of anyone then let us know!

We will definitely recommend you to anyone we know looking for new carpets in the area.  My Dad has already said he will be paying you a visit in due course!
