Underlay is a necessity when purchasing new flooring. With its thick nominal density of 80kg/m3 and nominal weight of 14.47kg, Airstep Elite will prolong the life of your new carpet – ensuring it appears thicker and feels softer for longer – even after heavy traffic. With its violet and printed Textron backing, the underlay also provides additional comfort underfoot due to its spongey nature, which adds luxury to each step. Also adding an additional layer of insulation to keep your house warmer and less noisy, Airstep Elite ensures your new carpet is entirely even, unlike old underlay, which can cause ridges if not replaced as well as is prone to crumbling – especially in high traffic areas.
