Global has a felt backing, meaning it can be laid without an underlay and is therefore ideal for those on a budget.

The underlay we reccomend with this carpet is our Airstep Super 8mm PU underlay. The tog rating for this underlay is 1.9 however for extra comfort underfoot go for a higher quality underlay.
