Underlay is often overlooked when purchasing your new floor.
Old underlay, like everything has a lifespan, it is prone to crumble or collapse especially in high traffic areas which may cause your new carpet to ridge or appear uneven.
New underlay makes your carpet feel better as it gives cushioning for underfoot comfort. New underlay makes your carpet look better as it protects and keeps it looking new.
