You will find our United Carpets and Beds shop in the town of Long Eaton, located in the Erewash district of Nottinghamshire. The store is located on Main Street. By passing the Tesco Superstore on your left, followed by McDonald's and ALDI, and the British Heart Foundation, you will see us on the corner unit at the traffic lights.
Whilst we do not have parking access, you can park on West Gate, a street parallel to the store, for 45 minutes free of charge, or alternatively, park in the Armstrong Mills Car Park, for a small fee using the parking meter. Of course, if you are shopping in Tesco, you can also make use of their parking facilities which is also a very short walk from the store.
Our store is local to villages such as, Beeston, Breaston, Borrowash, Shardlow, Draycott, Castle Donnington, Sawley, Risley, Stapleford, Sandiacre, Toton, Chilwell and Ilkeston. All of these villages are covered in our fitting and delivery radius.

How much does carpet fitting cost at United Carpets & Beds, and how does the Free Fitting offer work?
Our legendary Free Fitting offer means you pay nothing for installation on any carpet when you purchase the equivalent size in our Treadmore or Airstep underlay. If you decide not to purchase underlay with your carpet, or for products that do not qualify, a competitive standard carpet fitting fee applies. Please not that a standard stair surcharge is applied for fitting on stairs, which applies even if your order qualifies for the free fitting promotion. Your local store team will inform you of any surcharges before booking.
How do I get a price estimate for my home, and is there a charge for measuring?

You can easily book a home visit online via our website or by contacting your nearest local showroom. A local flooring specialist will visit your property, take highly accurate measurements to minimise waste, assess any subfloor or underlay requirements, and provide you with a transparent, comprehensive price estimate.
Are the flooring installers employed directly by United Carpets & Beds?
To ensure professional-grade results, your local store will introduce you to fully vetted, independent professional fitters of Carpets, Laminate, Vinyl, Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT), and Real Wood upon your request. Alternatively, you are always welcome to employ any professional fitter of your own choosing.
Do you deliver beds and mattresses, and what are your home delivery charges?
Yes, we provide professional home delivery services for our entire range of carpets, flooring, beds, mattresses, and bedroom furniture. All bed and mattress orders are dispatched directly from our central warehouse. Once your order has been processed, our beds delivery team will contact you to confirm your order. Once all items are in stock, they will get in touch again to arrange a convenient delivery date and time.
Standard home delivery costs £40. In addition, selected premium mattress and bed ranges qualify for Free Home Delivery. We also offer optional delivery services such as bed frame assembly and mattress disposal.
