The Austin vinyl flooring range’s wear layer is 0.25mm. This is a substantial amount to protect the attractive, top layer of the vinyl that replicates wood and stone effects.
It’s comfy too. It has a total thickness of 2.6mm – for good thermal comfort - and a soft felt backing for added comfort and warmth. You can stop worrying about the cold subfloor creeping through. This vinyl is 0.5 tog rated – so it’s cosy and underfloor heating suitable. It’s a choice that is more than suitable for slippery situations. It’s R10 slip resistance rated – which is a good number and ensures you’ll be steady underfoot.
Maintaining the Austin vinyl flooring range is easy. Simply sweep underfoot, then mop up with a pH neutral cleaning solution. Don’t worry about the subfloor being soaked either. Select “Home delivery and fitting” at checkout, once you place your order your local store will contact you to arrange. Payment for fitting is made direct to our independent fitters on the day of fitting.
Fitting is available within a 25-mile driving distance from our stores. Please contact your closest store for orders outside of this area.
Using a standard vacuum cleaner, clear away any debris from the surface of your new vinyl flooring. For dry stains, use a damp microfiber cloth or mop.
Your vinyl flooring order will be completed by your local United Carpets And Beds store who will be in touch shortly after your order has been confirmed to go through the next steps.
If you would like your new vinyl to be fitted, this can be added to your order in your cart.
Your flooring will be cut to fit your order specifications, so will be not be covered by the Consumer Contracts 14 day cooling off period. We strongly advise using our Free Measure & Estimate service to ensure that your room measurements are as accurate as possible. If you have ordered your flooring recently and your collection/delivery/fitting date has not yet been arranged, we may be able to pause your order processing until after you have been measured by one of our expert team members. This does not affect your statutory rights.
